About Us

Enabel Life Services Counselling and Coaching has been specifically designed for people who would like support but find it daunting to use conventional or clinical settings, or have found it difficult to meaningfully connect with previous support providers.

Our role is not to give advice or instructions on what you need to do, but rather listen and understand your world so we can effectively support you to determine the best course of action to improve your current circumstances.

The key benefits of our support and coaching service include:

Convenience - we agree on a neutral setting where you can feel comfortable and we come to you.

Trust - our initial focus is to create a safe, relaxed space and take the necessary time to develop an honest, respectful and genuine connection to enable you to speak openly about what you’re dealing with.

Professional - discussions are held in the strictest of confidence and to the highest standard of ethical practise.

Flexible - we employ flexible work hours to schedule sessions around your needs. There are no contract terms around session numbers and we aim to get you moving forward as soon as possible.

Diverse - we help clients across a range of issues from common mental health challenges such as stress, anger, grief and loss, depression or anxiety through to self development, effective decision making and many other life challenges.

Meet the Founder and Principal - Ian Abel

Welcome to Enabel Life Services.

I feel grateful and excited to officially launch what has been a passion project for me for some time.

With the way the world is today, I feel that there has never been a more important time for empathy, understanding and support for each other.

I have specifically designed this practise to meet the need for people that want help but feel challenged by using more formal or clinical support settings.

In my previous career roles I had always been attracted to people development and have extensive experience working with and supporting people to be their best.

I completed a Diploma of Counselling in 2018 that gave me great confidence and supported what I had already learned through my real world experience. I see a high demand now for effective counselling and coaching support especially for those who have previously suffered under the unhelpful stigma that surrounded reaching out for help.

Our approach centres around creating a real connection with our clients and working hard to understand what’s important to them. Our role is to help our clients develop a deeper understanding of what they are facing and also develop the tools and skills they need to take better control of what lies ahead for them.

Our support model removes obstacles many find challenging when seeking support. Clients can choose a neutral venue, we have flexible session times and keep our rates affordable.

So if you’ve tried support services before but we’re not satisfied, or have been thinking of seeking help, our relaxed approach and skill set may be just what you’ve been looking for.

We promise to do our absolute best to enable you to improve your life.

Yours sincerely,

Ian
